Agree but how many years are we gonna just continue to make excuses for this group. How many different players have come in here, effective or not and nothing changes. So you either look in the mirror and say I’m 500lbs because I eat Twinkies all day and don’t exercise or you keep deluding yourself and fail.

You are so correct. How long do we wait before we admit that maybe this core is just that indifferent. We have listened to the same excuses from them after every collapse.
These guys are superstars and awesome when the games are easy but after Christmas and in the playoffs when the other teams ramp it up this core disappears.

QofC has gone up as we are playing much better teams than the stats padding the Leafs do against Ottawa and Edmonton at home, and Leafs are blowing leads and looking worse against better competition.

This road test was said to be the gauge Leafs were going to use to see where they sat.

Sadly we have seen where they are really at. Stars that disappear when the games get tough, zero defensive depth and a coach that refuses to adapt in game and right back to suspect goaltending

Numbers were always going to normalize. Campbell wasn’t going to be in the 930’s all year. 920’s would be great but I wouldn’t even expect that.
