I don't think he did though? He just pointed out a fairly simple point. Then why did you just choose the low one?

Aren’t they buddies? I thought it was playful!
No doubt TB since that's who we likely play 1st roundI'm sure he's hopped on another bandwagon by now.
They are...Aren’t they buddies? I thought it was playful!
The high road would be ignoring and walking away. That was the opposite.I don't think he did though? He just pointed out a fairly simple point.
Over his first 3yrs Matthews somehow managed to rank 2nd in goals per game and 22nd in points per game in all of hockey, despite receiving onky the 78th most Toi/gm for forwards, and the 124th most PP Toi per game. A good 20% less toi than the other top scores and 30+% less PP toi.
Not even on his own team's top PP unit and never ever played with the team's best winger.
Horrific, embarrassing coaching malpractice.
Toronto Maple Leafs centre Auston Matthews has been awarded the Calder Trophy as the NHL's top rookie. Matthews led all first-year players this season in points with 69 and tied for second in the league with 40 goals, including four in his NHL debut .. He is the first rookie to hit the 40-goal mark since Alex Ovechkin in 2005-06.
In the process, Matthews helped the Maple Leafs go 40-27-15 and earn a playoff berth for the first time since 2013. "You want to perform individually, but in the end you want to do what you can to help the team win and I felt I did a pretty good job at that and just doing my thing out there and having fun at the same time," he said.

Still yearning for the days of Mike BabcockYep, disgusting how his coach treated this instant star.
Screwed him of so much statistical legacy already.
Seems odd lol, not nefarious or anything just strange,, but to each their own.He sure is, when not talking up the Islanders here in the Leaf forum. Just posted yesterday in a GDT in the Isles forum, referring to them as "our" team. Pretty odd for a "hardcore" Leaf fan...
Best in the league at puck/board battles along with being 2nd in fo%. Dudes been just fine. He hasn’t had a great year but the fact an off season is 80pts & the other little things I’ll happily take it.Have you noticed him on faceoffs? It becomes even more important in the playoffs. We don't need him for his speed.
$2500 fine? Jesus Christ, I hope he was able to get to an ATM nearby!
Rant #1: Fines are bullshit, and I don’t even think what he did was fine worthy (2 for Interference is adequate), but Barzal makes 7 mil a year, which I guess is okay money.
Fining him $2500 is the same as fining someone who makes 50k just a little under $18.
It should slide on a scale, which is obviously adjusted for severity - if Barzal took his stick and Mcsorley’d Mitch hit him hard but for picayune shit like this it should be:
1st fine: 2500
2nd-3rd: 5000
4th: 10000 + 3 games
5th: 50000 + 5 games + 150,000 team fine
Like I said I don't care where this person posts, I think I'm free to challenge his assertions and question his/her motivations over behaviour I've observed over an extended period of time.I’m sure if their posts were offensive the mods would deal with it. I don’t think it’s against the rules to post on more than one board but I could be wrong.
Not yet in my opinion. He has to have sucess in the playoffs. He has been a very good GM and deserves full credit for building the team we have now.Is Dubas now the greatest Leafs gm ever ?
