So much for the Leafs regressing so much since Dubas took over for Lou eh? I guess now the next step is to win a gosh darn playoff round... TBD.

Nylander and Campbell were really good. Marner and Liljegren were beasts.

The fans have made some excellent moves. I appluad each and every one of you. (Minus the obvious).

Isles fanbase is so sad and pathetic. Every time we face them, they dont even care about winning the game.

There needs to be a case study as to what Tavares leaving did for this fanbase. Bunch of losers

That was a very good win by our Leafs tonight. Good to see Nylander stepping up and leading the team in Matty's absence. Some good physical play too and good goaltending.

*I know many here like to bitch about JT. I will not join that crowd. He may not be the player he once was, but I know the man will not quit. Face-offs, board work, a point/game, full effort player game in and game out. Asking him to go up against some of these young fellas who skate like the wind and have skills galore is a tough ask, but with Matthews out, JT just competes. Come the playoffs, that's going to be huge.

The Leafs are now officially a physical team. Lyubushkin, he sure knows the key to his future. I mean he is becoming if its possible, even more physical. He rubs people out in front of the net.,

Seems to be loved by the guys on the team and very unpopular with players on the opposing team.

Bunting heh, guy keeps getting more skilled out there. Skating, handling the puck, I think when you play with two geniuses, it really starts to rub off on you.

Marner should take a game off or two as well, guy is like the energizer bunny out there.

Crazy thing is this, if you look at our guys, on the bench after a long, crazy ass shift, they don't seem to be wheezing or bent over, they are breathing, sure, but not too bad at all. Impressive.

It would be. He'll be pricey to re-sign and he's also an easy cap casualty. The fact that he's having a career year to boost his value makes it easier.
