How many games do they play in February? They'll probably be more rested going into last 2 months.
Leafs play 11, Florida 7 and Tampa 6.

Under the guidelines announced by the Ontario government on Thursday, the Leafs won’t have fans for their next five games at Scotiabank Arena and will have 50% for the following five games.
On Feb. 21, spectator capacity in sporting venues will rise to 50%. That will stay in place until March 14, when capacity restrictions will be lifted.
Once the Leafs finish their current string of six consecutive road games on Saturday in New York against the Islanders, they will return home to play the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday.
Four other games — Jan. 31 against New Jersey; Feb. 7 against Carolina; Feb. 17 against Pittsburgh; and Feb. 19 against St. Louis — will played with the backdrop of canned fan noise.
Home games with 50% capacity will include Feb. 24 against Minnesota; March 2 against Buffalo; March 5 against Vancouver; March 8 against Seattle; and March 10 against Arizona.
The next Leafs home game with full capacity, as long as the planned easing of public health measures are met, would be on March 15 against the Dallas Stars.
apparently doug ford is going to make some announcement about lifting some restrictions soon.. please please for the love of god i hope that includes letting some fans into the arena.
I don't think it's a coincidence that the leafs are going through a rough patch after a month of road games and seeing 80% of the league have proper fan support. It's definitely a mental disadvantage.
They can’t change any more games unless they want to compromise the end of April as the end of regulation.Expect NHL to make further scheduling changes to move more Leaf home games to March and April .. unless MLSE says no .. there is issue of falling back of other teams in standings to consider as well
The TV numbers in Canada have shown over past 5 years, except pandemic bubble where things were upside down and all sports got watched, once Leafs are out then GTA almost completely turns to Raptors or goes to summer mode .. GTA people don't watch hockey once Leafs are out .. yes there are some people out west and east who do and some family and friends but it is a CLIFF jump once Leafs are goneThey can’t change any more games unless they want to compromise the end of April as the end of regulation.
Even then that means around Canada day for the a game 7 final, and how many actually watch in June, when the weather is nice, and their team is out.
My point was the league is not going to PPD any more games due to crowd size, they need to play them or shorten season,(Which they won’t). The end date of cup final, can’t be extended anymore, regardless of the gate. The TV numbers in Canada have shown over past 5 years, except pandemic bubble where things were upside down and all sports got watched, once Leafs are out then GTA almost completely turns to Raptors or goes to summer mode .. BUT bottom line there is a huge difference between a 6M Leaf gate and a 3M Leaf gate and then down to a 1M for a Panthers game
But they could swop a Canes or Panthers gameMy point was the league is not going to PPD any more games due to crowd size, they need to play them or shorten season,(Which they won’t). The end date of cup final, can’t be extended anymore, regardless of the gate.

No swaps coming. This is it the new schedule and human beings have worked on it and the job is done. Be very happy that these games are played sire. This is the schedule, there's no more changing it and y'all can bank on that thereYep swaps are definitely possible if it can work for both sides.
Oof, thats a lot of games to be played in a short amount of time in February.
Yeah sounds like impossible but what do I know7 games in 11 games. Thats a first.
I see 7 in 12, from 17-28th,7 games in 11 games. Thats a first.
This is either going south in a hurry or the team surprises and goes on a nice run. We shall see.I see 7 in 12, from 17-28th,
not as bad as some teams.
For you guys that were bragging that the leafs were 17 and 1, I told you. Now the leafs could possibly fall out of the playoff spots.
Nearly everyone came at me hard. A couple others could logically see where the team was masked. Now at the end of February, leafs play 7 times in 11 days. If they go on a slump, Leafs would be on the outside looking in. The team will be dangerously tired. Now, while you were bragging do you currently know what the record is for last 5?
did you check the stats? Boston is only 3 points back and they are on fire. They will bump us to the second wild card spot soon enough. That said, we are likely safely in the last wildcard spot because only a team in our division would have to go on a serious roll. Detroit would have to go on a serious tear. They are 10 points back.2-2-1?
Fall out of the playoffs?
What the hell is this?

14 games in 31 days is pretty standard.Holy shit, March is even worse. 12 games in February, 14 in March. No one will be bitching about ice time.
