Is Clifford trying to reinvent himself as a scorer or something? Not impressed with his inability to get in there for his teammates to this point. I found he was like this in his first go around as a Leaf...without other true tough guys, he didn't do that stuff. When he fought for us this year, it was when we had Simmonds and Ritchie in the lineup and Simmer was trying to take on the world. Don't get me wrong, I think Clifford has played a fine game, and been of use on the fourth line tonight...but where is that tough guy that he used to be?

Maybe coach told him not to?

Exactly what we all expected...They take liberties, no calls..we get a chintzy one the second they get a chance...No arm was up.. Although I hate them and Montreal fans they can influence referees... I wish (and have wished for many decades) that we had a home crowd that went nuts on every little thing the opposing team does..It wears the referees down over the course of a game... We don't have the home ice advantage that several other teams do.....Rant over..I'm fired up !...lol
