I don’t really see dermott playing instead of Liljegren, dermott to me is the odd man out

As of now he is the clear #7 so I guess getting him action is fine, but I Believe it’s best to deal him for cap relief and give him a chance to play elsewhere since he is a top 6 guy

It might Dermotts last game as Leaf. It doesn't hurt, Dermotts a good player. It gives the teams scouting a chance to see what he does. Chances are they know what they're getting in Dermott regardless of this game but could just be a matter of seeing one last game before going for it.

Even if Dermott does stick around, he needs to play keep form. It's always good to rotate players in and out of the lineup when you can.

Looks like they're showcasing Dermott forsure if he's in.
I can’t imagine one game changing anyone’s opinion on him. I think whatever opinion GM’s have on him this one game won’t change it.

Another thing I thought of is what if they are thinking of trading Liljegren and this is to protect him from injury.

If they are doing that, then it can only be for Chycryn(sp) no other D out there worth it i think...

Yeah I suppose that's true too. Possible forsure.

Must be a bit embarrassing to be mrazek right now watching a kid who's never played a game before last week in the NHL come in and steal the spotlight.

Kallgren took the opportunity and has run with it so far. Mrazek has had a few chances and has dropped the ball in all of them.

Come Keefe, grow a pair.

Based on how we played without Matthews, and how JT and Nylander are cold:

Kase-Matthews-Nylander
Bunting-Tavares-Marner

No longer a one line scoring threat team, but acknowledging breaking up one of the best lines in hockey.

Come at me yo……. :)

I don’t mind keeping Marner on the 2nd line. But I wouldn’t move Bunting.

Bunting Matthews Nylander
Robertson Tavares Marner
Mikheyev Kampf Kase
Engvall Kerfoot Spezza
Little worried about the two tiny wingers on the second line.....although I guess Nylander doesnt play much bigger tho

I'm glad to see Matthews and Marner will be sticking together. It'd be dumb to separate them considering the insane chemistry they've had all season. Separate Nylander and Tavares, but not at the expense of splitting up Matthews and Marner, that'd be idiotic to do. No thanks.

Mrazek sucks, glad he's not playing Saturday. Send him to the Marlies, no one would care.

I wish Keefe would chill with his hard on for Matthews-Marner.
He finna go to the playoffs now with them twoos glued together and wanting for them two to show their cojones to the whole wide world. Wide.

So yeah, we finna get some otha thugs n' plugs for the dirty second line and that dirty third. Maybe Copp, Rinaldo, Tucker, Roberts, Nick Ritchie's half brother the other hillbilly Jones, Tyler Motte The Hitta, Austin Watson, Glendeling or Sissons, Colton. We that bad and hard, Thuggish really sire. Lets see what mr dubas ll' do sire.

We also might get a goalie, or a hard heavy D. Like Giordiano or some other dork like Lauzon or Larsson. Hard sire.
