If Matthews and Bunting don't play, I will grant you that it will be a much more difficult game. But they haven't been ruled out yet.Matthews may not play in that one and who knows about Bunting?
Because Tavares makes $11 million and he's gonna play, whether he fits or not, dammit! Why can't Keefe recognize that Tavares is too slow for OT? There are so many other options... I never feel comfortable when he's out there in a 3 on 3 situation.
Tavares should have been enjoying OT on the bench. Not that he was particularly awful and deserved to be skipped but in a track meet 3 on 3, we would have been better with Engvall and Mikheyev who are long bodied, speed skaters who can break up an attack and counter rush like on a PK. There's just no time for who deserves what.
Oh I could have quoted you a number of times. But I really don't care that much..882%, 3.42 GAA pretty much tells me all I need to know lol If the Leafs don't score 6-7 goals tomorrow night, it's a loss. Quote me back tomorrow night.
26 goals, 75 points in 77 games.
He's been taking lessons from RiellyMaybe it's confirmation bias but the last quarter of the season he has looked horrible. Either way, he could have played that one alot better IMO.
I thought he looked faster (for JT's standard) to start the year. I noticed he seemed slower after the COVID incident in December.I think JT just needs to adapt at this point in his career. Drop a little weight and work with someone on his stride in the offseason. Even if he got 5% faster it would help.
I still can't even wrap my head around the line of thinking that went into that Tampa game. It was just so stupid to treat that game as meaningless and it looks like Tampa has woken back up again. And now we get to watch them continue to pay for it tomorrow too, as they have to go back to KallgrenLeafs seem to have lost all momentum they had going for them going into the Tampa game. They took their foot off the gas, got beaten down so hard and are now going to limp into the playoffs. Nice.
Kjallgren in net and it's a back-to-back. Washington has something to play for.
He was the Leafs best player tonight. Those "Matthews is just being load managed" takes are aging really poorly.
He's definitely not 100%
Bunting is more concerning to me right now. We've been assured over and over Matthews is minor. Bunting's looked minor but those are the kinds of injuries that seem to end up worse. If Matthews and Bunting don't play, I will grant you that it will be a much more difficult game. But they haven't been ruled out yet.
$11,000,000 Cap Hit26 goals, 75 points in 77 games.
He’s very good at mooching points off the work of PP1 unit.
Kadri or any equivalent center would have more points, making less, racking up secondary assists on the league’s best PP.
We really should have capatilized on our opportunity last year
So many good teams this year in the east. Just unreal
Florida is a good team, simple as that. You don't win 13 games by fluke and there's Tampa
Then there's ever green Crosby and Ovechkin
Rangers and Panarin /Shes.... A good emerging team
Gonna be tough I tell ya
Bunting is more concerning to me right now. We've been assured over and over Matthews is minor. Bunting's looked minor but those are the kinds of injuries that seem to end up worse.
58 is out for tomorrow night. Matthews may follow...
He's playing with 65 and 15. Declining but not at Spezza the Star just yet IMO.Imagine if there weren't 4 better/younger players propping those point totals up..
He's like Jason Spezza in Dallas at this point, let's be real.
