What a game, can't not be happy about 3 points in a road b2b against Tampa & Florida & all the entertainment that came with it.

Include this OT loss in the Leafs last string of games against elite teams, it's a big statement.
Leafs have made a statement for sure. 5-1 lead looks bad but really having that lead, and coming back to tie it 6-6 took character. I'm happy with it.

Happy we got a point from this. Closer to that home ice for the playoffs. I don't really mind we lost. I just hope that Kallgren is okay and that Keefe learned something about his lines today.

I'm gonna give them some slack on this one. Saying it again, beating Florida, Tampa, Boston, Winnipeg, Philly in just over a week, playing on a back to back where you lose your fresh goalie. Playing the best team in the league and working them for 6 goals while you are dead tired.

It sucks the Leafs lose lots of large leads regularly, but I dont think there was a lot of expectation they had more than a %40 they win this one and they did get a point. So, I'll take it and run. This game was super entertaining and for once in a very large time my heart was racing.

I love the 3/4 points talk, completely ignoring them blowing a 4 goal lead, as if that regularly happens to the good teams in the NHL and as if blowing leads isn't still a major concern for this team.

Nothing to see here lol!
Take a chill pill. The last time a NHL team win both Florida state games on a B2B was 3 years ago. It just doesn't happen when both Tampa and Florida are so damn good.

Even though Florida got the win I think the result is actually worse for the Panthers than the Leafs.

Granted we shouldn’t have coughed up the lead but with a rookie goalie whiffing on one and the relief guy coming in cold on the second of a back to back, the Leafs did pretty well in a pure track meet to get the one point. Ran out of gas but still gave themselves the chance to win. I don’t think Florida’s run and gun will be a successful playoff style of play.

All I ask is that they don’t blow 5-1 leads multiple times in a season against our division rivals. Is that too much to ask?

Meh I don’t really care. Matty played great but he stays on 3 on 3 way too long. This isn’t thr first time

Entertaining and the OT loss ain't so bad. Fun!

The disturbing take-away is the Leafs absolute refusal to use physicality in their own end. I mean totally zero. And Marchment ran our goalie hard, twice, for free. This is insane. It won't be leaky goaltending or disinterested Willy or Clifford taking stupid penalties that will make the fans cry after the first or second playoff round. It is this thing - absolutely guaranteed.

As a bettor and Leafs fan I don’t know if I’ve ever been so frustrated watching a game before. Could have been a 11-10 game with all the chances. Thought Campbell played well can’t say the same for Kalghren

Of the goaltending tandems of Bobrovsky / Knight or Campbell / Kallgren, whose do you think is more likely to let their team down in the first round?

Because I'll take our guys for $1 million, Alex...
Easily. Our goaltending will absolutely be our downfall in the playoffs, been saying it for months now. 31st in save percentage for almost 4 months now, it isn't in my head lol

I am happier that the Leafs got the 6-6 goal, instead of just quitting after blowing a 5-1 lead. Says something about character, anyway.

For everyone blaming Tavares in OT that was a clear penalty taken on him. Reffing did us dirty again. Multiple examples
I'm blaming Tavares for 63 ish minutes, not just the OT. Like he's a shell of himself. Can't control the puck, can’t make quick decisions, is practically a non-option 5v5. Everything about him is slow as molasses. And Nylander gets stuck with him all game. I understand why sometimes he can't be arsed.
