Probably until Matthews walks.how many more first round exits would convince you that running it back isn't the way to go? We've got 6 so far, how many more?
Then they’ll all call for a rebuild.

Has a portion of this fanbase become so acqieist with losing that we're now at a point where we're giving them credit for showing up and playing their hearts out in a game 7 and not coming out flat?We always knew which team had the best goalie and if the best goalie wins, there was no point in even playing the games. I said it before the series - don't expect Campbell to win games for us, all you can expect is for him to keep it close. Our offence is the high priced talent and they're the ones who need to win games for us. Campbell did his job, but in game 7 our offence lost the battle against Vasi and to me, that was the difference.
It's not. The way they played in the series, and especially game 7 was a step in the right direction. The last 3 game 7's we lost by a combined score of 11-2, this time we faced our toughest opponent yet, we played our assess off and in the end we only lost because they have Vasi who showed in game 7 why he is considered to be the best goalie in the world. The way we played in game 7 though is most definitely progress, not sure how anyone can argue otherwise.
If you're so confident then go ahead and bet, there are many online sports betting sites who will take our action.
And then they'll claim it was the right move because they "Almost won while playing their hearts out and not coming out flat for a game 7! Lol.Probably until Matthews walks.

Phantom goals per 60 or PG/60 is the new stat.so a portion of the fanbase believes in phantom goals now too? do the phantom stats track these phantom goals? Zeke got a spreadsheet for that?
I see where we are at these days.
Understandable, but defeat, which my Lightning and Avalanche have both had, is easier to take by taking the games as they are played and not by blaming refs. And I wasn't patting you on the head; you seemed one who could understand the finer aspects of the game. I am nervous about the Panthers, but as my dad used to say, there's a reason the games are played. Good luck on perfecting Toronto. They are missing just a couple key pieces and will be back in the mix next year.Sorry Joanna, I don't think you're going to find a lot Leafs fans who want to re-litigate the series officiating and get a pat on the head from Tampa fans here. Enjoy the win and good luck next series.
Except both temas won playoff rounds before winning it all. The Leafs? Not so much.I cheer for the Senators, who have been in the bottom of the league for a while now. From my perspective, I think Stamkos is correct. If the leafs came up against anyone but Tampa in that first round, we wouldn't be talking about their exit. The thing about Tampa, is that they are really good at playing playoff hockey: super stingy style of play, get the first goal and sit on it. Plus they have a decent, cup winning goalie. I wouldn't say that Vasileskiy is that much better than Campbell. The difference is only experience. In fact that is the difference between the entire Tampa team and the Leafs. But the Leafs are very close to being a finals team. Just like the Capitals. It took Ovechkin and that crew a few tries to finally make it happen.
LOL. Yeah I've had enough talking about the big 4. Time to weed out the real problems.Just saw some kid at the gym for the first time in his life. Hitting up the 15 pounds on dumbell bench.
I was like damn, in 1 second he's already stronger than Engvall![]()

Pens PP 2/4 in an elimination game. Leafs PP is like 0-18 in these games. 0 killer instinct to take advantage
They didn't show for game 7 the last 3 years and deserved a ton of criticism for it. This year they gave it all they had so of course I give them credit for that, why wouldn't I.Has a portion of this fanbase become so acqieist with losing that we're now at a point where we're giving them credit for showing up and playing their hearts out in a game 7 and not coming out flat?
Man ohhhhh man!!!LMFAO.
Only the Leafs could be happy with losing. Well done. That 2-1 game 7 loss was great and when there was 8 seconds left in the 3rd period and Tampa cleared the zone, epic. You could feel the hearts of a million break but gosh darn, they looked good doing it.Loser mentality from top to bottom. Absolutely pathetic!
Shows the difference between both franchises. Leafs are happy about getting “respect” in a handshake line. While pens battle through adversity trying to win at all costs. Fire keefe into the sun.Pens have all the excuses to have been eliminated already yet here they are dominating in game 7
Wish the leafs had a fraction of the desire and killer instinct the pens have
I said a long time ago, Kyle Dubas has divided the fanbase. Who's right and who's wrong? Who knows. But he orchestrated the divide. It was pretty dark leaving the arena last night. Almost saw a fight in the crowd when some young fans took exception to some booing while the leafs were giving the final "bye" from the ice. (tampa left the ice first leaving the leafs).
Then when in the square same thing. Saw a fan pissing on a jersey. Saw another fan run and shove the pissing fan causing him to piss on what appeared to be his GF. A melee ensued.
A fanbase divided.
Some fans are calling disallowed goals as goals and hiding behind the same old.
Others are pissing on their jersey.
A fanbase divided.

It was hilarious. Forget covid, they were all saying that because of expansion and the new US TV deal the cap was going up to $90-100 Million.Remember when everyone said the Salary Cap would go up so much that the Marner/Matthews/JT/Nylander signings would not come back to haunt us?
Here is hoping most of Leafs nation show their displeasure like this dude here. Need a new GM and need a new Coach.
Okay, since you're the most vocal "FIRE DUBAS" poster here, fire him and replace him with who exactly? And no, "ANYONE!" isn't an answer. And neither is attempting to dodge the question. Because firing the coach and GM without some sort of plan likely means spending the offseason doing nothing at all while deciding on a new management plan.

He'd get traded before walking was possible. If Matthews walks, blow it up
It's kind of dumb. Whoever is on the team 5, 10, 15 years from now will get the same treatment. My god. This tweet encapsulates the pro Dubas crowd to a T!!!!
It's so bang on it is scary.
Still think we won that trade. Courtnall was a cancer on every team he was on, and Kordic allowed some students to make extra money.Kordic for Courtnall anyone?
Now they're both golfing in a few days.Pens have all the excuses to have been eliminated already yet here they are dominating in game 7

No to Hunter. If you get rid of Dubas get some one with NHL experience and not another rookie GM.Trotz wants to do something in management; he is one option. The other option is go apologize to hunter and beg him to come back to be a GM
