For me personally I felt the writing was on the wall after they choked away game 6. I knew they were at least going to show up tonight but in the end come up short. Vaz was due for a night.

That series was gift-wrapped for Toronto. Vasi playing that bad for 6 games. Kuch playing that bad for 7 games. Point out for game 7. That wasn’t even close to the best Tampa had.

And this bullshit. Holl, who can kindly get the f*** out, takes a penalty on what should have been a goal.

It’s a penalty in terms of the violation, but in that context? Tampa got away with at least three holding the stick penalties in the last ten minutes alone.

Sorry, the only lessons you can take from this series is that the Leafs won't win until they're so good they can beat the NHL as well as whoever they're playing. Thanks to the cap, that will never happen, so it doesn't actually matter who they have.
