Keefe needs to go, f*** him kerfoot and holl..garbage 4th line and kept kase who was done..i want another year of Dubas but with other coach

I know it’s a divisive topic, but benching Lilly was asinine.
He has one kinda tough game and Keefe sat him the rest of the series despite Holl and Lyubushkin doing worse. I am really hoping Keefe gets canned. Good regular season coach but can't get the powerplay to work in the clutch and some truly hideous line-up decisions.

Babcock kept playing Marincin in the playoffs and it cost us, Keefe kept playing Holl and cost us. Just fire his ass. So sick of this garbage coaching year after year.

14 shots in 2 periods including two powerplays, the fact we didn't see any line changes is insane. Hell we went a good 10 mins in the 2nd with no jump. How to blame, I have no idea. However there should be major changes this offseason.
You guys need to stop looking at shots and look at shot ATTEMPTS...

Welp, no big fancy good byes, i dont a ton of time in here anyway. But this was my 40 year Leaf anniversary and it will be last. I dont have the same passion for hockey as I once did, especially the last 3 years. I lost my diehard ways years ago, but had a bit of a rejuvenation when Matthews arrived. Last year was going to be my last after the Montreal debacle but I thought ok one more after the weird pandemic seasons.

Twas fun ya'll. Kinda of a waste of thousands of hours in a way, but also not in other ways so. For all those who will continue to cheer and fight in the coming years. I wish you good fortune in the wars to come. Peace everyone.

Nah, we'll probably trade Nylander and Reilly and retool around the others, and we'll lose again in the first round to questionable reffing and then it'll be "Is Marner or Matthews the problem?"

Then we'll end up with nothing but the corpse of John Tavares, and maybe tank for another superstar, not get it or get it and lose in the first round again due to questionable reffing and it'll be that player's fault.

Thought Reilly was re-signed? He's not going anywhere. Doubt changes are made and if they are, Nylander is gone for depth and defenseman.

Should we consider trading Auston?? I’m not sure if he has the “it” factor that this team desperately needs to get over the hump. Might be worth to pick up extra assets by blowing this thing up. Let me know what you think

Yes, trade him to the Bruins. Let us take him off your hands. We will even package in old friend Nick Foligno in the deal.

But seriously, trading Matthews is perhaps the worst idea of all for your team. I’m not even sure I can concoct an explanation because it’s just a given awful idea.

Erring blows. Officiating has been horrible, once it went to seven you just knew how it was going to end. Sad thing is, nothing will change. Mark my words.

Can't wait for someone clueless mouth breather in the media to start shouting that Nylander needs to be traded for 2 4th liners and a 6th dman
He is the one I wonder about, especially with us spreading out the second and third line.

Not blaming, not complaining about his play, but he'd be the guy to move on from

I don't think there's a year where I've been less concerned about team build. I'm going to give it some thought the next couple of days (let's be honest, months) but outside tweaking the third line nothing jumps to mind

Well, problem for us is we can't actually stand pat and run it back. The cap pressures means some big pieces shake loose. I don't know what the answer is but there needs to be changes, but we can't do it emotionally.

I thought overall Matthews, Tavares, Marner and Nylander played good in the series. Tampa was just better. They need to get a goalie but with the way the cap money is allocated we are always going to be stuck with average.

I think some people might not like this but I’m good with moving on from Speeza.

He will probably move on from us. Why would he return if he wants a cup? Unless management makes major changes on the ice, it will the same result next year.
