It's not like losing to the 8th seed, we kept it competitive, the refs have to pick a lane, Tavares seriously needs to make a difference I'm sorry but someone getting paid that much needs to show up and change games, we have to keep our composure as a team, Spezza may dress next game.

It shouldn't even be a hard decision for Keefe. Clifford takes a terrible penalty and puts you down for 5 minutes, and Simmonds takes two brutal penalties after the whistle for 4 minutes.

Keefe's lines are bad. Not only did he change the lines after a win for some reason, he continues this experiment of splitting Nylander and Tavares, which has not worked.

Thought we came out looking as good as in Game 1 but Vasilevskiy was up to the task early. The flukey opener with 2 seconds to go in the first was a killer, got the money off Tampa's back and they seemed more confident after that.

You focus too much on the puck when watching the game. You missed all the holds and cheap shots away from the play. Simmonds does what he is supposed to.

They have accomplished #1 so far. They didn't accomplish #2 tonight.

Not worried about PP, PK, or 5on5. It's simple, just shut those two down.

No one is giving nylander a pass

He’s been ineffective…..but still the main player on his line

There are spurs where Tavares looks like he’s the kerfoot/bunting of his OWN line. It sometimes looks like mikheyev is running that line alone

Also, nylander at least had a good series, since Tavares has been signed, he lived up to that contract for 82 games then never again

Both need to be better and game 3 might be their biggest chance

Agree. Why are we not dictating the matchups? Maybe we are, but didn't feel like it.

Spezza in for Simmonds next game?

As others have summized, we need way more from 88 and 91 and need 64, 47 and 65 to be waaaay better.

I put Nylander and Tavares back together.

Next game has to be as tight a game as we have played, this was a sloppy mess tonight.
