Tough loss but Florida came ready to play and us missing some really important players was just too much to overcome.

At least TB just lost.

We need to get Matthews back because we can't sustain winning against top teams without him.

Missed opportunity but the injuries depleted the line up and it hurt them

Showed some battle but the Panthers came out hard despite their recent struggles.

Lost the special teams battle too.

They’ve been on a good run so let’s hope for a bounce back W

Florida was on a mission tonight and we are seriously shorthanded (McMann hurt now to geez). So not a bad showing all things considered. The one major ask I have is, Evilhomer for the love of god stop making confident predictions. My jinx believing heart (not really, sort of, maybe) can’t take it. 😂

If McMann is out a while and Willy catches a suspension the best case Ontario is Matthews and Knies come in for them on Saturday. We just can’t get healthy.

Not too mad about this one. Florida was due for a bounce back and our roster is a patchwork of stars and AHLers. It’s been a good run but this team desperately needs bodies back.

Missing 8/12 forwards was bound to catch up to them. Incredibly how many players are out from their original starting lineup.

NHL regulars the Leafs are missing:

Matthews
Domi
McMann (for now?)
Knies
Jarnkrok
Kampf
Pacioretty
Reaves

Ehhh you just knew this would be that kind of game. Didn't play horribly with a depleted lineup, they scored early on their chances and the special teams was a big factor. Stolarz was also pretty average tonight.

At some point the Leafs need more contributions from their secondary players. I just don't understand why they signed A. Nylander either.

It was obvious that this game would go this way. It's a step too far for our AHL forwards at the minute.

I'm shocked there were people that thought we stood a chance to be honest.

The guys battled all night though and that's good.

Wonder who the next guy up for McMann is?

Yeah, Leafs got crushed tonight. Stolarz was complete garbage. I guess with the AHL team in front of him…can not put all the blame on

Predictable chedule loss. Panthers on a 4 game losing streak, giving up 4+ goals in three of those games. Leafs were on a good stretch. Incoming hot takes.

Not an unexpected result.

Too much to overcome, and you have to respect the reigning Champions who were desperate to shake a losing streak.

Bobrovsky always seems to show us All Star Bob, even when he’s been playing Bozo Bob recently.

Hopefully we didn’t let Stolarz sit too long and he lost the awesome rhythm he was in, and he finds it again for his next start.

My guess is a fine and that's it. It wasn't as bad as Timo Meier's.

Tough one but was to be expected. Florida on a 4 game losing streak didn't take the short handed Leafs for granted.

One thing that was interesting tonight was how many times Leaf players had one hand on their sticks going through the neutral zone or in the offensive zone. I guess that's considered "tight checking" hockey.
