I'd rather have Kallgren with our top four actually producing in the playoffs, than Prime Price and they top 4 not producing.

Leafs problem is not scoring when they should, with 50 shots they shouldn't be white knuckling a 2-2 tie. It's pretty easy to bail your goalie out if you just score some f***ing goals.

I’m not really too worried about standings or playoff matchup at this point. When time comes we either step up and knock out a team or we lose.

But from a playoff tuneup POV though, these high shot disparity games and getting goalied a la Game 6 OT aren’t a good sign because they fall into the opposition game plan and really have no answer.

The high shot count is irrelevant if you don't have folks who are going to commit to going to the hard areas, battling hard, and coming away with rebounds or deflections.

I watched far too many flybys tonight.

Dubas walked into the best situation any GM would give an arm and leg and has set this franchise back years because of his stupidity. on top of that he has a rookie coach that doesn't know how to deploy his players, make in game adjustments or plan for his opponents.

Leafs gonna get cleaned out in the playoffs in 4 or 5 games regardless of who their opponent is.
