Another in along line of humiliations for this team.

Our vets at forward are absolutely pathetic. Tavares, Simmonds, Spezza, all of them can f*** off. At the very least for the latter two get some young blood in the lineup over them, God’s sake.

The humiliation word is so f***ing over used here on this board. Give it a rest. They lost, but it wasn’t a humiliation. MTL literally won on a questionable tripping call. We had 50 shots on goal. Obviously you want them to win, but it’s the NHL, shit teams are going to win. Leafs are not going to go 82-0. Not every loss to a shitty team qualifies as humiliation.

Don’t care about the non-call. If they aren’t used to it by now I don’t know what to tell them. We’re going to get f***ed by officiating in the playoffs too. f***ing adjust accordingly and either score on more than 2 of the f***ing 50 shots you take or don’t f***ing pinch cheating for offence and leaving your D partner alone on a 3 on 1 Rielly!

I thought Leafs would lose and not show up. They showed up for the first half of the game. Marner was completely robbed by Allen. This was at least a game the Leafs should've pulled a point out of. Turned 1 into none in Leafs fashion.

Total trap game and although they played like a house afire in the beginning, they drop yet another one against an inferior opponent. Now, it's too many for them to win this division. Should be neck-and-neck with Florida but are fading.

What did they expend losing in Montreal? I guess we'll find out tomorrow night.

Dominant 1st, sleepy second .. frustrating third.

Incidental foot contact on Matthews on that winning goal was pretty overlooked .. Kallgren was playing a solid game until that goal. Yes, 3 on 1 but he has to have that shot.

Montreal seemed to get a lot of bounces tonight.

Positively, confidence is growing a bit in him for what he is.

Hes not capable of stealing games. But he can stop most shots in a game.

This league really has a thing for letting guys blatantly trip opponents and then score.

I think the organization needs to start throwing bombs at the NHL officiating. Lay the ground work so the biases are out in the open before the playoffs start. But then again with the way this team is unable to string together a consistently strong effort game to game I don’t think officiating is their only problem.
