You are all too worried about draft picks lol. Our draft picks are all on the team now in Matthews, Marner, Nylander, Reilly etc. the draft picks we have now should be used to help those guys win a Stanley Cup, worry about the next 5 years after our current core is no longer in their prime.

Giordano is a low end number 4, upgrade over Holl that's for sure, now I wonder what they do with the 5-6, d-man, I would imagine Sandin will be there no matter what, but whose gonna play Holl or Bush.

Based on what? His defensive metrics are excellent on one of the worst teams in the league.

Hes certainly still better than a "low end #4"

My guess is a 2nd + Robertson. It’s going to be expensive. Francis drives for value a little too hard.
If Robertson is part of this trade, it would be a gross waste of one of our top prospects.

I would instantly hate this trade. I'm not on the Gio wagon to begin with......

Sick of bringing in over the hill players that don't fit long-term, and tired of paying through the nose for "character". Our young guys aren't young anymore and they need to bring it themselves.

If Lyubushkin stays with Rielly and Gio pairs up with Brodie.

No more Holl in the top-4. Sweet.

I like this, because it keeps Muzzin-Holl together (who seem to be a good fit), and it still removes some responsibility / minutes off their shoulders, which they both struggled with.
