He's playing at a 30 point pace (all even strength) with great defensive metrics and puck moving ability as a 22 year old rookie. If we block him and Sandin out of the lineup the rest of the way that is a huge fail.

We need these two now and moving forward with this group.

Your steady 5 in the lineup until Muzzin is back should be Rielly/Brodie/Gio/Sandin/Liljegren and then use Holl/Boosh/Dermott as you wish.

A change of scenery and playing for your hometown is gonna bring the best out of Gio IMO. Obv we aren't getting prime Gio, but he'll be much more motivated to play for this team (where he was hoping to be traded to) as opposed to a rebuilding franchise.

Boosh is absolutely part of the "steady" group whether some of you like it or not. Keefe has been very complimentary of him.
