Spezza obviously plays lighter minutes than JT but man sometimes you couldn’t tell who was 38 and who was 31 between them.

Which is why my only explanation is Covid, Tavares works out a lot and keeps himself in good shape but he litterally does not have another gear right now!

Pretty sure it was Dauphin. He's also the only D who hasn't been on for a GA and I'd argue only he and Lilj aren't directly to blame for a GA so far.

Tonight is more of an all round team no show. Everyone is taking the worst from the Blues game and playing like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off which makes every defenseman look subpar. Including Brodie. Including Rielly. That said, Holl was making some high profile errors at 0-0 like the no look drop pass to Matthews at the blueline and another blueline no look pass which I think sprung Caufield. Muzzin was brutal before he got hurt. This is a classic burn the tapes.

He sucked this much for long stretches last year when it was still impolite to point it out. Back then he was learning to be a rock defensively and having a young family.

I think he’ll pick it up again. But it’s unacceptable for him in his role and salary to not be ready to be a contributor for long stretches.

He was bad for the first 3-4 shifts. I didn't mind the Marner pass, poorly executed but had support. The penalty and drop to AM were ugly.

Agreed on all being poor, I'd just say he is less so than some others
