Tampa - Kucherov, Point, hedman, stamkos are not as soft as our guys
St. Louis - Oreilly Schenn Tarasenko Pietro
Washington - Ovi Kuznetsov Backstrom aren’t soft either
Pittsburgh - Crosby Letand Guentzel Malkin aren’t exactly soft either

most of the time they aren’t as soft as our guys

Its easier to deliver a crushing check when you know when they come after you someone has your back. When you have to be that someone to defend yourself you can't skate away.

It would seem this group is above embarrassment. Because I know for me, if I was playing a team that just embarrassed me in the playoffs, there is no way in hell.id let that happen again. Lose to CLB tomorrow all you want, but I'd be doing whatever I could to not lose this one.

They came out with zero intensity or intent. I find it amazing this group can continue to do that... Couple that with poor goaltending and you get this embarrassment... But I guess to them it's nothing, move on to the next game.

I love the Leafs but I just don't see any way they get out of the first round... Just the fact they can play like this is enough to dissuade me.

I don’t know if Matthews, Marner and Nylander are wired like a typical core. They don’t seem to have that bad blood hockey pride thing in them so we’ll never see Wendel and Dougie or Roberts and Tucker type stuff from them. I guess the question is, how do you coax a championship out of a unique set of personalities?
