I think Tavares’ style of lead by example or whatever he supposedly does would be best served wearing an A. If he had good habits and is a guy to quiet lead he shouldn’t have a prominent role in the leadership but just a veteran guy in the room. His game isn’t anything to marvel at so I don’t know if you could use that to inspire the troops. If the team needs emotion and a leader to turn it up to 11, Tavares’ style seems to have the opposite effect.

Tavares’ style is sucking ass so I can see how it indeed would have the opposite effect.

Whoever scouted Mrazek should be fired on the spot. He has stunk, stinks now, and will stink in the future. I have never, ever seen a goalie lose his net as much as he has. He has poor fundamentals. And to think people in here think we should go on a run with this pitiful excuse of a goalie? Give your heads a shake.

The defence has to be revamped. Try something different with different personnel. Muzzin and Holl have been horrific all season. Brodie has had a tough game. Rielly all over the place trying to do too much. Lliljegren still too young. Dermott will never be a defenceman on a SC contender. For goodness sake get some toughness on that D, they're being manhandled by the pathetic Canadiens. No justification for this kind of effort and play.
