Leafs Fighting Majors

Watching every leaf game i can tell you im getting sick of these fights every game.

- Orr still playing does nothing can't even skate properly just usless in my opinion, we have better options in maclaren and fraser if needed for a fight so having a fourth line maclaren - mcc - komarov would be a productive, strong and trustworthy line ..

- fight doesn't win us games we have more important thing to focus on then being a team that has good fighter
- defense is horrible this experiment with kostka/holzer needs to end we need mobile defense men (gardiner), phaneuf can we take his "C" away already and give it to LUPUL!!! Gunner really have no comments all i can say is where have you disappeared to, liles and komi getting paid to for nothing Nonis time to do something show you deserved this job!!! Only two which have been pretty good is fraser and franson!!

- GIVEAWAYS, just a joke every game this is worse then when wilson was coaching, none of our defensemen can move the puck out of our zone!!!

- goaltending same old story!!!

- scoring has been good but having your 3rd line centre your points leader for the whole season thus far and still playing 3rd line something doesn't sound right there! Garbo a checker and bozak a first liner wow these roles are reversed these player are playing roles they aren't cut out for!!!

So coach you were chosen over Eakins (huge mistake were just going to lose a great coach for nothing :() we played the last 4 season this same style of hockey (tough, strong, and grinder/enforcers type) and we haven't made to the playoffs lets change something!! Stop focus on fight and more on winning these games!!!
 
You begin talking about fighting majors then start ranting about other issues. Maybe you should start watching soccer instead if your upset about all the fighting
 
Actually I agree with everything you are saying minus the fighting. I think Carlyle would like to have a tough guy that plays ie Neil or Prust. Just like our first line center he has to make do with what he has (Orr)

-Lupuls second goal on Saturday was 100% because of Colton Orr scaring the defenseman of the forecheck. I have been so impressed by Orr this year especially playing with skill guys. He just clears so much room and stays near the net causing havoc.

-We cant send Holzer or Kostka down. We can send them on waivers and watch them get picked up.

-Liles has been very good the last couple games since sitting. Komi was good before he was sat.

-Gunnarson needs to be shut down for the season IMO. Would rather have any of the sitting d take his place. You can tell his skating is very different cause of his hip.

-Giveaways are annoying. I would like to see less D-to-D passing and more D-Winger-Off the glass. especially while carrying a lead.

-Goaltending has been more consistent than the past, but still too inconsistent to be relied upon as much as the team has made them.

-Fighting is the least of any reason why we have been losing.

We dominated early in the year, and fought more then than we have the past few weeks.
 
Look what happened after we got rid of Brown. 5 game losing streak. Still wanna get rid of Orr? He's a big part of the team and makes his teammates feel confident.

I don't agree with the OP for the most part but your logic is terrible. Brown being traded is NOT the reason we went on a 5 game loosing streak. :shakehead

I do think though that we don't need 3 tough guys in the lineup most nights and some nights can easily play with 1.

C'mon now.....Mike Brown was useless. Barely played. Typical leafs fan reaction.
 
If two goalies at .915 and .917 was "same old story" then I think the last couple of seasons may have been different but whatever, I'm sure you know what's best.
 
During the Ron Wilson era after most games... "No toughness","Team doesn't stick up for itself","We were outmatched physically".

During the Carlyle era... "Im getting sick of all these fighting majors"

I guess you just cant win when your a Leaf fan:laugh:

I love watching the fights. Especially if they're losing, might as well beat the crap out of the other team.
