Who do the Leafs send for Lindolhm?
Literally anything to get in done within reason. If we can agree to an extension, he would be a huge buy. Instantly our best D and makes the team so much better.

Second year in a row now we have a goalie putting up a career-worst season (3rd if you wanna count Freddy twice). How many more will it take for you to even consider there might be problems elsewhere? This makes 0 sense. He’s playing the worst he’s ever played but someone else can’t come in and be better because????

There's no lie. We all watch the games. His impact is negligible compared to his monstrous cap hit. And a bulk of his points comes from Nylander creating chances for him, not the other way around. He's as slow as molasses and handles the puck like a grenade as of late.
I don't care how he gets his points as long as he gets them.
The object of the game is to score more than the opponent so I don't care how he does itNot a great mentality at all.
What awful logic for not firing Doobler. I sincerely doubt that’s what the next GM does. After all, there's a very good chance the next GM does the "Remember the Over-The-Hill gang? Let's do that!" thing
You can't win 5-4 - Ken HollandThe object of the game is to score more than the opponent so I don't care how he does it
Except that's been the exact thing every GM the Leafs have brought in following a period of success has done since 1967. We've even had general managers dismantle their OWN f***ing teams following this logic (see: Fletcher, Cliff). So saying "I doubt that's what the GM does". Yeah, that's what they said in 78, too. And in 88. And in 95. And in 02.What awful logic for not firing Doobler. I sincerely doubt that’s what the next GM does.

All season you mean.it’s just one game
you said rielly-bear was trash in the gtd therefore our top pairing is still a question mark, but it's also a counterpoint game?Counterpoint: no, it doesn't.
So where does Carolina fit in there? Is crappy Freddy holding them back from being at the top?Top 3 defensive (All situations xGA) teams this season:
1. Boston
2. Calgary
3. Toronto
3. Dallas
Gotta remember the Leafs sat at 3rd in the league for the actual fewest goals against on January 14th. That wasn't by accident. Just because the goaltending fell apart (.871 team save % since that date coming into tonight) doesn't mean the D all of a sudden was trash.
The Leafs are, at worst, a solid defensive team. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be great to get another top-end piece back there but threads like these are pretty off base.
