I know we are still looking to win a playoff round and the main goal which is the Cup but don’t ever take for granted of making the playoffs consistently in this league.

A few wrong decisions: like drafting Hanifin over Marner, f***ing up the Nylander pick by getting Ritchie, a lotto ball the other way and getting Laine or Dubois instead of Matthews and this team is just as bad as the shitty Senators or Sabres with no future at all.

We will win with Matthews and Marner. It’s not if but when. We just have to be patient.

The good. Marner is more involved physically, Matthews is on a tear and the defense for the most part kept the Habs to the outside.

Some concerns.

There were some early breakdowns on D and the Leafs had trouble getting into the dirty areas once again. This can't be repeated in a couple of weeks. Be physical in front of their net too, make life difficult for their goalie.
