You people are losing your shit over nothing. We are playing our 3 in 4 nights against a w,ell rested team. Two of those games against arguably the two best teams in the league who by the way were wmell rested. We are playing an AHL goaltender.muzzin Tavares bunting Kase out. When we get in the playoffs we will get some players back and only play every other night just like the team we are playing. We are making the playoffs this is really a nothing game. Home ice means absolutely nothing in the playoffs

It's like people don't think fatigue plays a role. Leafs are playing their 6th game in 9 nights, so of course the intensity isn't as high as last night

And they're a shot away from tying it

With amount of players who can actually skate, this baffles me
Our lack of consistent forecheck is really has been our downfall for long long time
They rather do the big drop pass trying to attack the blue line. 3 guys standing flat footed and we do that dumb back pass.

Same move for 5 years.

Teams just stack the blue line and we just try to finesse it in.

That's okay! Everyone'll be fired and all the players will be traded after this year and we can go back to not even being close to making the playoffs, because a decade of that was WAY better, wasn't it?
That’s kind of an over reaction. The only one that needs to be fired if the Leafs don’t win at least 1 round is Dubas. Bring in someone that will make changes to the core and balance out the team and hopefully someone that cares about goaltending.

There are no meaningless games. Every night is a chance to send a message and assert dominance. Great teams want to win for the sake of winning because they like the feeling of it. The Ottawa and Winnipeg games were also “meaningless” last year and the Leafs no showed. That went well.
So do these games mean more then the games when Toronto went through Flordia, Boston, Winnipeg, Philly, and Tampa? Didn't Toronto send a message and assert dominance then?

All I am saying is the Leafs look like they are just going through the motions right now to get through the playoffs, home ice advantaged is nice to have, but it's not going to be the difference on winning a series, if that's what we are thinking is going to push us over the edge, we are already in trouble.
