At what point do you blame it on the players though? The Captain is a slow skater with no playoff success in his entire career before coming here and is quiet and gives the most generic answers to everything. The team won't even say what happened to Matthews. It's a reflection of the organization as a whole.

I don't mean to be Negative Nancy here but we are going to get absolutely killed in the playoffs.

Tampa heating up at the right time and I wouldn't be surprised if they won out and got home ice. That's what winners do, they win.

We've blown so many valuable points this season. If we didn't "play down" to weaker teams we could already have home ice locked up and could rest some players. But here we are, hanging on for dear life. So tired of this crazy season after season.

The team have lost about 26 pts to bottom feeders this season. Let's say 4 points from that would have put them in a much better position already.

First it was to learn to beat good teams

then it was learning to play tight games
Still lost first round

Then it was learning not to lose to Zamboni drivers
Still lost

Then it was beating up bad teams
Still lost first round


This team either gets it or doesn’t. And as of now they are not showing that they do
