Does anybody know of Washington is resting there good players? Pretty sure they clinched the playoffs and have no way of getting home ice anyways so they dont have much incentive to play hard tonight

They are still jostling with Pittsburgh (and Boston) for playoff positioning. I’m sure they’d rather be inside the metro playing NYR than switching over into the Atlantic. I’d actually argue they have a lot more to play for than us

Kampf has to do more other than just win faceoffs. Dude's a total no show in other areas

Engvall is great. Dude is getting better and better everyday
Would have liked to see him with Auston since Engvall can really carry the puck

I see it as you said, matching up against Wilson when possible.
Kampf was never an offensive threat. IIRC this is his most productive season. He's our shutdown guy.
Agreed on Clifford. I've enjoyed his past few appearances. Let's see if he keeps it going

they already sort of are, which is why these remaining games are a bit hard to get pumped for. These guys only care about round 1 at this point they're not going to give a complete 60 minute effort for any of the remaining games.

I selfishly prefer if they pond hockey this game. If Caps want revenge just let them take it. Save the energy. (key word selfish I know I am saying a very bad thing lol)
