Damn, selfishly I wanted this game to go through but the safety of the players, staff, etc is more important than the entertainment of some nobody on a hockey forum lol.

Silver lining is playing any team with 2 of our best players missing isn't a good idea, and both teams at full strength later should make for a much better hockey game and greater chance of a Leafs victory of course haha.

It lowers the risk of getting it and transmitting it and greatly reduces your chance of being hospitalized.

It is. Brodie, Soup, Dermott, Keefe and Carbery tested positive yesterday so just as well. Hopefully they will cancel the Blues game next week and give them enough time to come back from the holidays healthy.

There’s a funny video of the “clown experts”, including, for some strange reason, a well known computer programmer, telling the world how great these vaccines are at preventing the virus, only to flip flop a few months later. But, even more humorous, one of the more elderly clowns got the talking point mixed up as recently as last week.

This situation sucks. This can be a permanent future if the developing nations aren't vaccinated the same time the developed world is. You can give me 7 boosters, if another variant emerges in a country thats unvaccintated then it will eventually spread here and the circle begins anew, as these shots seem to work strongly for 6 months at a time. Not that I am anti-vax but this won't work unless its organized world wide. Its a shame the WHO seems to neither be worldwide, making us healthier or organizing anything other than CCP propaganda.
