Leafs have always been a thorn in the side of this Tampa team, we match up well. I'd still rather avoid them cause Vaz can be that good, it's looking like Boston is going to pass Tampa anyway.

I would shoot for taking over Carolina if we could and secure a possible 3rd round game 7 if the chips fall that way. That's a more realistic goal.

No Nylander and this team was dialed-in. AbruZZese TOP touched the puck tonight and had some chances. Great seeing him looking more like he belongs in a big game like this. Hope for him going forward.
Impressive. These guys better keep playing well. Muzzin and Kase want their spots back. It looks like Campbell needed a mental getaway. He seems more composed, fresh, confident again. And that thug Matthews. He's pretty damn good. GO LEAFS GO!!!

There is no doubt this team is a Stanley Cup contender and one of the best Leaf teams in history. We’ve never had a playmaker like Marner and a goal scorer like Matthews. We are truly privileged to be watching this team.
Great game by Campbell. Solid defence with good sticks. You can’t take Lily out, solid game. Fourth line effective…liked the speed of Blackwood.

Really happy with the game but I need to call out Keefe here. Why the f*** are Liljegren and Gio getting such little ice-time? They are our best pairing and Holl/Lyubushkin have been kind of bad.

They could have two 100 point players this season alone! What a feat for Marner given he missed 9 games with that injury earlier in the year. Needs 16 points in his remaining 13 games.

Mains are having a melt down. The narrative has changed again boys, Matthews is actually a bum being carried by Marner. Marner should win the Hart over McDavid for how bad he's carrying Matthews.
