I want to see this kind of effort in the playoffs. Maybe Muzzin should sit more to keep D chemistry? He was clumsy even before head injuries. Tampa fans are a classy bunch including their colour guys. So unlike pos broons and their hysteric j edwards.

What a statement game by the Toronto Maple Leafs on the road against the defending Stanley Cup champions and possible first round matchup. And Auston Matthews marches on towards breaking every Leaf record in sight. Marner is absolutely dominant out there picking off passes, making things happen, one timing goals. Campbell with some big stops. Engvall looks amazing. The defense looks rock solid. Possession game humming along late in the season. Tavares looked great battling out there against Stamkos. All the Lightning big guns mostly neutralized. Vasi solved at least for one night. All the boxes checked off.

Great effort by the team.

Matty with the Hatty.

Marner now moves into the top 10 in scoring (tied for 7th).

Campbell looked solid.

Great night!

So many positives to comment on tonight. One for me that stood out was the play of Simmonds, Blackwell and Clifford. Physically disruptive all night long, and for me surprisingly effective at keeping the Bolts in their own end. I'm not sure it's sustainable, but if WayneTrain gains a bit of adrenaline to keep the legs moving, and Clifford and Blackwell keep banging, that's a plus for the team, an added wrinkle. Also of note, Abruzzese played as advertised. Quiet for the most part, but he keeps showing up near the puck. Almost like he knows where it's going, hmmmm, where have I heard that before?

So our plan is that we hope the best team in the league is going to fall off and go 6-7-0 = 12 points. 114 point finish.

Leafs are going to go 10-3-0 = 20 points, while wearing down Campbell in the process. 115 point finish.

Come on!

Leafs gotta do better than 10-3.

And 2 of them have to be wins over Florida.

The thread title is lacking a bit of umph.

BIG win to help their chances at securing 2nd in the division.
HUGE night for M&M.
Soup was stellar.
Put 6 by the Michelin Man.

Huge game tomorrow. Must win if we have any dreams of catching the Panthers. Jack is well rested and looks great. I gamble.

i tend to agreed with you most of the time but goddamn thats a terrible idea ......

campbell just came back from a huge injury ... how about we dont play our number 1 and risk an injury given that if it happens we just eliminated ourselves from the playoffs with 1 momumental stupid decision.
