The plan shouldnt be to try and catch a presidents trophy team and wear ourselves out in the process.

The plan should be to play our game and run at a high level in prep for the playoffs. Secure home ice and get ready for a 7 game grind against BOS or TBL.

Love Tampa fans though. They're one of the few boards where I read that if the Leafs are playing well, they acknowledge it with no backhanded compliments. One guy even said that "the Leafs are playing like how we should be playing".

I'm being cautious about the playoffs but I really like the way the Leafs D have played since the Giordano trade and Lyub brings a good physicality to his game as well as Blackwell's energy, skill and physicality. Campbell has been calm in recent times as well. The only team I want to avoid in round 1 is Carolina personally but I don't fear Boston or Florida especially if Ekblad isn't back right away.
