What we do in hockey echoes in eternity...
Hope to see Liljegren get rotated back in. He shouldn't be sitting on the sidelines for too long based on his overall play this season.
Keefe seems to be doing better this year with the lines and lineup but the defensive rotations still seem to be a weak spot for him.Hope to see Liljegren get rotated back in. He shouldn't be sitting on the sidelines for too long based on his overall play this season.
Colorado was hot as well. The Wild having any Goalie issues? Both teams coming in with a 5 game win streak. The wild have been electric. Kaprizov has 17 points in 8 games.
They read there press clippings think they are good and start to let the bad habits back into there gameI'm the same. Keep waiting for the shoe to drop and some old habits creep back in but instead they just continue to impress.
You have to know they can't win every game but it's hard to see them losing any now.

He's always been decent, IMO.Talbot has been solid all year and I wonder how long he can keep it up. I’ve never been sold on him but he is rocking a .914 save %. I doubt this will be a blowout like Colorado
A 4-1 win on New Years eve in 2019 (right before we were hit with our favourite year). Kerfoot, Nylander, Matthews, Tavares scored, Andersen in net. When was the last time we played in Minnesota? Seems like forever.
I recall it was a Jake Gardiner homecoming.
Sorry not leafs or game related, but who wants to talk about Ben Chariot playing 1:34 on the poweplay for the habs last night. He played more than Romanov ON THE POWERPLAY. How is that a good idea.
Need to apply some smart strategy based on statistics.
from Moneypuck...
If they either:
Beat the wild in regulation,
Beat the Wild in OT or
Lose to the wild in OT,
....the odds go down that the leafs make the finals
Hence...the only plausible strategy is that they lose to the Wild in regulation to keep the odds of making the finals unaffected

I was being facetious. It's just a great example of statistical hubris and a common mistake when looking at stats with no regard to experience.nah. Win and increase odds to win one round. That is goal they should be focused on.
Did I just hear Marner got hit by Muzzin, and walked out of practice?
Edit: found video of Marner talking to muzzling after the hit
