GDT: Leafs at Stars-- Thursday 4/7/22

Dallas comes into this one off a 3-2 win over the Isles at home on Tuesday sitting 8th seed overall in Western conference.

Stars sport a 22-9-1 record at home this season.

Leafs last visit (I was there) 1/29/20 was a 5-3 win.

Toronto looks to bounce back from one of the toughest losses in recent memory.

Matthews gunning for Rick Vaive's record. He scored the last time he was in Dallas.

Kallgren shut them out 4-0 three weeks ago in Toronto.

Going to guess he goes with Kallgren and states it's because he shut them out previously while really wanting to give Jack more rest and time to recoup after Florida.

I never want to see Muzzin paired with Holl ever again. However you feel about Holl, you have to admit he's noticeably worse paired with Muzzin?

At any rate, Muzzin will play for the simple reason that he's been out a long time; therefore, Holl sits.

I don't have much - if any - faith that Muzzin will return to some kind of positive form. I really hope I'm wrong.

I feel for the guy. I wouldn't blame him if he just walked away from hockey tomorrow, based on his concussion situation. I suppose the upside here is that we're not desperate and have a few games before the playoffs

I have a feeling we’re going to put more pressure and speed on them than they’ve seen in a longgg time. We’ve been playing such a fast and overall synced game the past few weeks.

Would be genuinely surprised if they can hang with us tomorrow night.

Muzzin-Holl pair doesn’t work. Muzzin is not a good player anymore and Holl is…Holl. Playoffs will be too intense for both of them.

They team pretty awful. Radulov is done. He is not fit to play nore can do anythang useful anymore. His nhl career is over. We could take advantage here also, they team not that gangsta neither. They can gang bang some, but not much. We much more goodfella than them is. We like godfather good nowadays. They just like Gotti good. Armand Assante killed that 1996 film though.
