I want to secure the win, and divisional lead as well... including home ice. I just think it would be good entertainment having an Ontario first round matchup... happy to play Florida, or Tampa in the second round... but the Battle of Ontario first round would be good fun.. instead of two rounds against Florida teams... not to mention the travel could be challenging on the team for two rounds.

Mostly because Florida did it yesterday would be my guess.

NBA style resting, has come to the NHL. Not a big fan of it in either case... Sports tickets are expensive, people deserve to see your best players.

I really thought Washington would sit Ovechkin yesterday so he could score at home. Imagine if that had happened.

I'd like to play Ottawa first. Not because they are easier, but for a Battle of Ontario, which I think would be more enjoyable than other options. Plus, it would be light travel for our team, which could help in later rounds.

Let's see what happens in the Tampa game tonight. A Tampa loss ends the idea of any race.

I’d like to see them decisively win the division. I’m not sure I buy the talk of a team tanking games to try and decide who they play. That’s a risky game in a tight race. Florida also doesn’t strike me as the type of team who is afraid of anybody.
