Speculation: Leafs and Pens talking Louis Domingue

This is coming from DanKingerski and I don't know who that hence why it's speculation and not a rumor.

According to Dan Kingerski the Leafs have expressed interest in Penguins goalie Louis Domingue.

I don't know who Dan Kingerski is but it makes sense Marazek is hurt, and Hutch is travelling with the Marlies so that means Joseph Woll is the current backup that's probably not going to fly.

As of today Woll is likelyto Saturday VS Buffalo I'm not sure they want to do that.

Woll's bad numbers are just as small of a sample size this year as Domingue's good numbers. Domingue is a likable guy but not a good goalie.

If he told me the Leafs play in Toronto I'd google it to be sure.

Honestly, a late pick. Like LD for a 5th is probably what it would amount to.

LD is more consistent than Hutch (which might be what Toronto wants, altho "consistently mediocre" usually isnt the consistent you want lol), but he's not a better goalie. Maybe if Pitt would take a 7th or an AHLer just to get rid of him, but i wouldn't pay an asset for Louis

That's the thing, I can't see the Pens moving any goalie depth after what happened last season. Unless the Leafs overpay, which they won't because it would be stupid.

This is just Kingerski seeing that the Leafs need a goalie and connecting it to Pittsburgh because that's where his primary audience is. He has no inside information.
