Other teams concentrate on Matthews/Marner.
The Tavares line plays against secondary opposition which makes his performance even look worse.
Not only is his skating awful but it looks like his reflexes are slowing down.
I know he has his supporters on this forum but I don’t see him as a quality player anymore.

A perfect 40 so far. We have dominated but Jack has had to make a couple big saves which is fine by me. You don't want him to have no work.
Rest your top players now if you can in the final 20, and have majority of the minutes to 3rd and 4th lines plus the bottom 2 pairs.
Last game before the All Star break, I say keep rolling the lines.

Who cares. 6-0. Nylander had a great streak and JT has been as good a 2C as anyone has. You aren’t going to have everyone have a career game at the same time. And look, they just about scored.

Simply pointing out they are still struggling or snake bitten does not mean that the leafs dominating this game and being up 6-0 isn’t awesome. It was more to point out that it must be getting to them…every line has looked very good today..and yes that was their best shift all game..struggling and having career games are VERY different.

Jack Hughes has crazy talent but he's so easy to play against. Not strong enough yet

Mark Fraser on the television...................... Now thats hard

That man is a gangsta. He was part of the most gangsta team by mr carlyle... hard mclaren, orr, brown and fraser on the SAME TEZEAM and almost beating the boston bruins in the playoffs. We ain't been that close to the second round in almost 20 f***in years. Think how gangsta fraser and that is.

Brady also had some great defensive help that got him into championship games.
QBs only play half the games.

Of course, but it works both ways. Maybe with a better defense he goes to the S.B this year instead of the big play they gave up to lose.

Also, he left N.E and won another SB immediately, even at his advanced age, on a team that was unheralded a year earlier. Jordan went to the Wizards and was largely overshadowed in the league.

Both players are obviously historic, I just think Bradys dominance and consistency is unmatched. Before the Bulls and Lakers the Celtics had a dynasty of dynasties, winning 9 rings in a decade, and few mention their stars in the same breath as others playing today.

They should run up the score. Goal differential might become a tie breaker by game 82. Take full advantage of the freebie game. January gave our goal differential a huge blow

bunting ties rookie scoring lead with that goal and only 4 points behind the points lead with 4 games in hand after tonight. ROTY!!!! lol
Bunting isn't winning roty. The only way he wins it, is if he has atleast 10 more points than the next closest guy, and even then, probably not. Seider would be my pick, and he'll probably receive a token vote for the Norris as well.

So a fella that was garnering support for Team Canada...

Do you mind defining "quality" for me, please. I think I've been given the wrong definition.

I guess for me it’s the only playing one side of the game. Jordan was dominant offensively and defensively.
I’m biased though, always disliked Brady and the Pats. I’ll say doing what he did at his age he may be the most remarkable athlete of all time though.
