I sure hope i see a better start. The 3rd period comebacks are fun but i'll take a stress free game for a change.

It would help if the team in front of him doesn't start the game by giving NJ multiple grade A scoring chances from right in front of the net to start the game.

I'm not blaming the defense for 3 goals on 9 shots that's weak.

Jack struggles are are because Jack hasn't been good enough

Who will be put on waivers in a day or 2 when the taxi squad ends?
Do we need to do that? I thought we banked enough when Marner was injured to avoid that. I assume Ritchie will just be a healthy scratch? Also, Ritchie passed waivers once already but I believe that was Jan 7th so that goes away after 30 days right? I am confused.

I’m confused as well, that’s why I asked. Might depend if taxi squad counts as being on an NHL roster as well?

Win this any way you can
6-4 8-5

but February 7th against Carolina we need to start playing defence

today I’ll let it pass as it’s a b2b but from that game on we gotta return to being solid defensively and goaltenders making saves

Can't we just waive Ritchie again if we need too? Nobody will pick him up and if they do we free up capspace.

I'm betting that Ritchie will find another gear in the playoffs.... I have a weird feeling that he's just too strong sometimes for the game... He was always (in his career) a guy who finds himself in the box and has a hard time finding the medium to use his size the way he's suppose to instead of manhandling and risk going to the box.... In the playoffs the refs put away the whistles and let strong plays go, so he might feel more comfortable to let loose in the PO...

That's my guess, I hope that's the case, guys strong as an ox, but slow and the speed of the game bites him in the ass.

Ritchie won't be a maple leaf anymore come trade deadline time sire. Not at all. He is being shopped, hard. And already put into the sitation where he will be flewn to arizona etc when the deadline comes. He is nothing to do with us anymore. He isn't a very smart, good ice hockey player. Never has been. Some thought so, but he looks even more lost now. Might be because of so many thangs. Many thangs lead to it and matter. Toronto is not the easiest place to play. Evidently even without the crowd... wich is even more surprising. No pressure now, and ritchie still looks like a hillbilly. He, will be not better in the playoffs, for no one. Never. He is gone. And so lost. Like the hunchback of notredame. That even rhymes.
