I'd pick the Leafs over either one. But I'd rather face Florida just because I know too many annoying Bruins "fans" in real life. They make a TOR/BOS matchup pretty insufferable.

Florida is ahead on points percentage.

We don't match up against either team particularly well. It will take some heroics to beat either team.

Yup I think the formula is if he wins a round he'll be back in September but on a short leash. Wins more than 1 round he will be around for next playoff run. Lose in the first round axed before the draft.

What teams would you think leafs match up well against? Or are you just doom and gloom and think Leafs are out round 1 against any team.

I honestly don't think it makes any difference. We'll be the underdog either way and deservedly so.

The Leafs are getting swept in the first round. Trash goaltending, and Matthews and company vanish in the playoffs. I don’t see them winning a game.

I see them getting shut out a few games. Has a team ever been swept with not scoring a single goal in a series. I would not be surprised.

Boston and Florida play a more aggressive and heavy style of forecheck and make you fight like hell for the middle of the ice. Our core has consistently shown that when the game is played that way, they will just stick to the perimeter and kill clock.

On top of that, we have a tendency to get goalied hard in the POs. I can easily see Swayman/ulmark and of course Bob doing that to this group.
