OT: Leaf Tickets not so hot..

I went ahead and got side by side tickets for a game against Montreal February 27th. Never in a million years did I think it was possible to get side by sides. Is it possible the Leafs do not sellout a game this year and fan apathy has set in?

Maybe finally people are learning that paying for a garbage product is not worth it. I'm probably wrong though as in a million years people would still buy rip off tickets to watch failure on skates.

most of the tickets are season ticket holders and most of those holders make money on selling the tickets to other leaf fans. i wish and hope the acc doesn't get filled (unless we start making a playoff push but this WILL NOT help the longterm state of this franchise)

I'm normally a sucker and go to a couple of games a year. This year i'm going to one. Tomorrow. In Buffalo.

I will not go to another leaf game in Toronto until they are in the playoff race... i'm a diehard fan just don't have the money to go watch a losing team.

Not from the box office you didn't. And getting them from stub hub or other scalper outfit has always been doable. The fact we have sold out something like 439,473,791 games in a row is all that matters. You can always get a ticket if you are willing to pay.

I know some people with seasons tickets that decided to just scalp them all this year out of apathy.

That said, I won't go back to ACC (by paying) due to the horrible fans. i will go to Ottawa, MTL or Buffalo, those games are great.

The damage Burke did is unmeasurable...

Bettman's trojan horse may be backfiring. If they continue to not allow CDN teams to win,who will support all those bad US teams? There are kids who got turned off during Burke's tenure, their no attendance will show in future years.Bettman better start thinking about how Toronto gets the first overall pick, before it is too late.Without Toronto, there is no 30 team league.

Similar thing in a few other Canadian cities. Found it quite interesting actually. I assumed it was because of the quick turn from no hockey to new schedule + ticket sales although there's clearly a fraction of fans that will gladly watch but are not buying tickets in some kind of protest (I've heard people say they'll watch on TV but not spend any money).

I get offered tickets all the time through my stepfathers company and I haven't actually gone down to a game in years. I give my tickets to friends who either cannot afford them or have never been. Or I call up big brothers and they gladly take them. The Leafs aren't a good product, haven't been in years, I don't feel like driving down there, paying for parking and spending $13 for a beer.

I won't go out and buy a 28inch tube projection t.v., therefore why would I waste money on the Leafs, both products suck the big brown banana.

There are almost always some tickets available, always has been. This isn't some revelation, the Leafs don't even lead the league in sellouts.

But not side-by-sides to a Canadiens game. There are singles sprinkled around the arena. Hard to sell those tickets.

I checked the game in question on Feb. 27, and I counted 38 tickets left, but all singles. So either he bought the last pair of side-by-sides, or he is bs'ing.

id rather watch garbage from home on TV than put the effort in to go to a leafs game and watch it at the ACC.

Let alone pay for it

My response was to the "will they not sell out this year" point that was made.
