Was just musing about how different things are today with inet vs back in the 60s, 70s & 80s when it comes to hockey magazines, autographs, pictures etc.
I remember buying the hockey news when Bob Mckenzie was there. Buying hockey magazines before each season. Buying 3 newspapers a day(Star, globe & Sun) especially during trade deadline, draft etc. Writing to your favourite Lesf & you'd get an autographed photo mailed back to you. The Toronto Sun also printed a collection of photos of Lesfs & Blue Jays. So much fun back then.
What are your memories with regard to this? Not sure if this thread will be relevant but just putting it out there...
PS.... on a side note who remembers Brian "Leaf tattooed to his ass" Glennie when he blocked a shot with his face and/or when Dan Maloney went wacko on him?
