Coming in peace..

I'll be in the city for a few nights. Any bars where I'd be able to watch tonight's Leaf game?

Appreciate any helpful responses

The best one is by far the 281 located on saint-catherine. many good memories with leafs fan over the years!

 I figured as much. To clarify, no need for a predominantly Leaf supporting bar. Just a big screen to watch the game.

If it is a night with the Habs playing a really small bar I guess, if it is an off night you can probably ask at la cage aux sports if they could put the leafs game on.

You can always ask for a redundant screen to show the Leaf game. Not sure how successful you will be, but as long as it's not a HUGGE screen and you are friendly about it, I think it may happen. Just be ready for some teasing

Thanks, will give them a call. Habs start at 7 tonight and Leafs at 9, so not too much of an overlap there.

Be sure and wear all your leafs gear that'll be a great ice-breaker !

Hahaa. Not the place for me. Glad you enjoyed yourself there, however!

No, No this is exactly the perfect place for you. the sausage sandwich is delicious. i recommend the one with the extra creamy gravy!

Go to a bigger sports bar with a lot of TVs like cage au sports, station des sports, peel pub, maybe the sports bar section of hurleys, etc. Find a table that is near a weird angle /corner TV that basically only your table would be watching, and then ask waitress to switch it. This should not be a problem 99% of time even with a Habs games on.

Actually, it would be a great networking venue for those Montrealers looking for an opportunity to move to Toronto. :D

yes....find them all and then burn them. Leaf fans are like bed bugs....creepy crawlies

Usually at la station des sports, if you ask kindly, they will put 1 or 2 screens for you to watch something else.

Yes, I even have a photo of the place
