Among the scouting combine attendees without a thread is Rimouski LHD Simon Bourque, so to kick off his thread, here's an excerpt from CSN Philly:
At 6-foot, 184 pounds, Bourque has adequate size to play on the blue line, but when paired with Morin, there's a lot of things he doesn't have to worry about with the 6-foot-7, 225-pound Morin patrolling the corners.
Further, here are two French-language articles recapping his year: April 28 and June 3.Bourque is a solid puck-moving defenseman with a good but not great shot. He's a player who can log big minutes and plays with a lot of heart. He was part of the equation that helped the Rimouski Oceanic get to the playoff round only to lose to the host Quebec Remparts.
In a breakout year, Bourque scored 10 goals and 38 points in 68 games. He'll build on that, and that's why he has a chance to get drafted in the third or fourth round of the draft.
