Had 13 points in 59 games, but he was buried on a deep defensive core this year. Got better as the season went on. Committed to BU for 24-25, even though his father is the head coach at Northeastern.

I think he could play a big role on the upcoming USA Hlinka team.

My scouting report from his USHL season.

I think this guy is very underrated. Stuck behind a very deep defensive core in Muskegon. Probably the best defense in the USHL. He’s a left-shot defenseman that shows some upside in all areas. Not the most flashy defenseman, but I think he can play in all zones and there’s nothing at this point I think is lacking in his tool set. A potential low-event PP2/PK2 type that is one of the better support defenseman on a team. I think he could definitely be a 2nd or 3rd round pick next year, depending on how much exposure he gets next season with more ice time. His stats don’t look so great, but he barely plays because there’s not time available for him on such a good defensive group. Definitely one of the better non-NTDP American 2006’s playing in the USHL this season, along with players such as Swanson and Pitner.

My review of what I've watched from him this season. Has 2+10=12 points in 45 games. Changed his commitment to Northeastern, and now for 2025-26 instead of next season.

I think he’s a good player. I think he’s likely to get picked, but he’s sort of went backwards or at least not gone forwards. I thought with more ice-time he’d be a big standout, and he plays more now after being traded, but there are fair upside questions. I think he skates and defends well, and there’s the occasional shift where he’ll create a scoring chance, but does he have real NHL potential? Not clear. And if he does, it’s probably as like a 6 or 7. I would say he’ll probably be a late rounds picks, although I wouldn’t be too shocked if he wasn’t picked.

Finished the year with Sioux City and now committed to college one year later.

Not listed in Central Scouting's rankings. Does that mean teams take a "Wait-and-see" approach in this year's draft?

Or is he worth a late round pick?

I didn't even bother writing him up for the Black Book...he doesn't play with a lot of structure to his game, works hard, some urgency on retrievals which I like, okay skill level...don't love his mental game. What's the rate of improvement here? What did he add to his game this year?
