He has looked good as an underage defenseman at U18s for Finland. Better than more hyped Veeti Väisänen or Niilopekka Muhonen. Good skater. Plays with high confidence. Not related to Olli or Jussi Jokinen.

I liked him a lot too. Has been very noticeable with his hockey sense and passing. I’m just not sure about his skating – it’s fine, just didn’t seem as good as it usually has to be for a small guy.

I think Jokinen was Finland's best d-man and one of their best players at U18s. Better than Väisänen and Kiviharju. And didn't even play on PP.

I'd imagine teams wanted to see him playing at a higher level of competition before selecting him.

I'd imagine he received a lot of attention at the Summer Showcase and will draw more interest if he is playing in Liiga this year.

He was selected in the CHL draft, wonder if he will play there. They don't usually take Euro's without a previous commitment.
