Today Švec scored the game-winning goal against Vitkovice. Perhaps he will finish the season in the Extraliga. In any case, Svec spent most of the season playing in the senior team (Pardubice-2, Chance Liga) and scored 5 points there - not bad for a defenseman who, due to his age, will only be drafted in a year.
Three years ago, I identified Švec has the best Czech defenseman in the draft-25. Then he played for the Slavia team and showed very decent statistics. After some time, Skok was ahead of him, a little later Mikel and Mrtka took the lead. But Švec is not going to lag behind them - recently he has become a regular player in the U18 national team and, moreover, is now the most inductive of the defensive players.

He is having a great start to the season. In the "Maxa" League (the second Czech senior league) he has an excellent stats for a defenseman of 0.8 per game. He is the second scorer of his team. Top 5 among the defenseman-scorers of the entire league. He alternates between playing in the "Maxa" League and the Extraliga. In the last three days he has played three games in senior teams.
His goal was two days ago.
 
Continues to shine in the Maxa League. With two assists today, he once again strengthened his position in the scorers' table.
In the last 20 years, not a single hockey player had such an impressive PPG in the second senior Czech league in his pre-draft season. Formally, we can only note Ondřej Kaše, who had similar numbers, but he did not play so many matches then for his sampling to be considered representative (and he is also an forward!).
 
Svec is a very hard-working defenseman. He plays a lot of games for senior teams. He alternates games in the main senior league with games in the second league. Yesterday he was on the ice for the main team in Pardubice, and today he was already working in defense for the subsidiary team. In the Maxa League, he has a very decent TOI, and also scores a lot of points. Today he made two assists. In terms of .ppg, he is the best defenseman in his team and second in the entire (!) league.

Martin Švec is also good in the playoffs. Today, with a great shot in overtime, he brought victory to his team in the first game of the series.
