Seems to be the best of the Russian defenders of his age group early on - he wore the captaincy for Russian’s U16 squad at the recent U18 PSK cup in Belarus.


In the Russian U16 league this season he has 12 points in 10 games so far playing for CSKA Moskva.
I’d also like to note that the PSK Cup stat sheet has him with 0 points but I counted twice where he should have picked up an assist on a goal, both secondary assists - both the plays are down below.

It‘s not difficult to see why he could be a guy that could go high come his draft day. He is 6’4”, 198lbs already at 15, posseses good offensive instincts, a great deal of poise, good, active stick, physical and moves well for his size. Will be a guy to keep an eye on the next coming years.

Caught a game of him with Guelph because I thought he looked pretty interesting as a DY-1. Definitely some shell shock with the switch from MHL to OHL, speed was an issue, but liked his aggressiveness to make things happen. Overall, was a pretty weak viewing despite an assist - hoping he finds a rhythm.

I think he is slowly climbing on some lists. He is big, he is strong, but could use his strength even more I think. He might be a sleeper imo, he has very interesting tools and has shown very intriguing signs of upside. He often keeps it simple, but seems very good at spotting openings and support the attack. And his shot is very good. I still have questions about his hands and skating though...

EliteProspects have him in their Honorable Mentions in their latest Top-50, he should start to rise on many lists. I still have to log in a few viewings, but he should end up in the 55-70 range in my next ranking.
