1st NHL goal for Mackey in the last game of the season.

Management seems to like him a lot, probably will see more regular games next season if he's re-signed.
 
He's slated to play on the US World Championship team. With the defense they're going with, he could see top-4 minutes.
 
Looked great in limited NHL action. After getting my hopes up (and subsequently crushed) for Valimaki though I’ll reserve judgement on Mackey.

He's going to miss at least the first few games due to quarantine protocols, so it'll be interesting to see his utilization joining the team so late.

He’s been solid in the AHL so far. Stockton has had a great start to the season.

The issue is the Flames have a good top 6 with Valimaki and Stone available as 7/8, so there isn’t likely to be much opportunity for him in the NHL this year.
 
He was just named AHL player of the week - 3 goals and 2 assists in 2 games, including 2 SHG.
