Pavel Buchnevich
"Pavel Buchnevich The Fake"
My review of what I've watched from him this season. Has 0+14=14 points in 50 games. He's committed to UConn for 2025-26 per EP and is Gatineau or RN property in the Q (it looks like they've both drafted him, so there may be some distinction here I don't understand).

I find him to be one of the under the radar prospects within the USHL this season. He’s pretty tall with smooth skating. He has good puck skills, slickness handling the puck, and can set players up. I could see him eventually being a PP2, puck moving defenseman in the NHL. He makes a few too many errors with the puck, but otherwise isn’t that bad defensively. He needs to get stronger and he’s not necessarily some defensive ace, but he’s a player that has potential to play in the NHL for sure. I see him being around a third or fourth rounder. Also one of the youngest players in the 2025 draft.
