LD Alexis Daviault - Sarnia Sting, OHL (2023 Draft)

Has been consistently playing top 4 for Sarnia recently as a 16 year old. EP has him listed as shooting right, but he actually shoots left. Not sure if he prefers his off side or not, as I have seen him slotted at both LD and RD.

Only problem I see with his game going forward is that his size may hinder him in the pro ranks. I think he’s a riser as the season progresses.

Had a goal and was the 3rd star in their game against Saginaw last night.

2 goals 2 assists and 4 points in 3 games so far. Pretty sure he’s playing really big minutes as well.

After a few more viewings - I was way wrong with this initial assessment.

Good puck mover on the PP but needs to improve his decision making. He needs to utilize his teammates more and stop trying to do everything himself.
He needs to simplify his game. He looks to have potential but nowhere near the top 3 round pick I though he would be going into the season.
