1130 EST game day today.

Yesterday the game ended with alot of pushing and shoving and it wouldn't surprise me if there weren't suspensions because of both teams being on the ice joining in the rough stuff. That is regarded as leaving the bench. Struble noticeably might get punished.

games been a bit chippy, too bad Roy didn't score there in the final minute of the 1st, he had 2 chances but that first one I thought was going to be a goal for sure.

Farrell with 7 pts in 12 games, in 6 of those games he's got 0 pts and 7 in the other 6 games.

I haven't been too impressed with Maillet this year but maybe this is him finally waking up as he's now got 5 pts in the last 4 games. He had 2 pts in the first 8 games.

The best news of this weekend has been the defensive play of Laval, they had a couple breakdowns yesterday but mostly have looked much improved there as it was pretty bad to start but has been showing signs of improvement but then they had perhaps their worst game of the season and you think here we go again but so far for these 2 games it's been much better.

Though it should since they have been off for over a week so you would think they worked on that hard all week as it was clear they must figure out a way to cut down on so many turnovers/breakdowns.

Roy, Farrell once again showing they work well together, must key that line together for now. Sometimes it looks too easy for Roy, and then he uses the light touch and either someone is putting the puck in the net or he is. Made some nice defensive plays today, smart in the right spot with his stick in the lane and picked off the pass in the slot.

The Habs must hit on one of Roy, Farrell due to how thin our forward prospects are currently. They need to continue to improve and for Farrell he has more trouble with the lack of strength as he struggles when pressed physically, whereas Roy seems stronger but both are not quick so hopefully they can work on being more explosive.

Houle recently said that Roy was already a man physically despite his young age. He makes plays that will work much better in the NHL.
Mailloux obviously is adjusting to pro hockey and he is noticeably better than he was in game 1.

Laval has improved alot on team defense for sure and both goalies are starting to get comfortable.

Edit- Farrell is another smallish player that you can't inundate too many of.
