Is it me or Houle constantly changes the position of the players?Only Mysak always remains in the center position...

Mysak and Gignac seem to be the only constants at center.

Stephens, Richard, Belzile, Abbandonato, and Simoneau have all played center one game and wing the next.

And regarding Mysak, JF Houle made his mind up before the season started that he's not an offensive player. So I fear he will keep him there at 4C.

I don't think Mysak has a lot of potential but he should be tried on the wing for sure. Higher than 4th line as well.

Last year, Gignac started in the wing. But by the end of the season and playoffs, he was at center.

I think he has potential to be a depth player in the NHL. I just don't think his current coach puts a ceiling on him before the season begins.

Weird. They just traded Green because they had too many d-men, and suddenly, they have two injured guys on D, and play with the minimum 6.

Is there even one player in the Rocket's lineup with NHL potential? They probably miss Mesar, that guy can play but they sent him down.

once again Laval gives up too many goals, battles back to make it a game only to come up short. This theme has repeated all season long. Norlinder and Beaudin both with some terrible defensive plays, I wonder if the full face shield is giving Norlinder problems as he returns from injury but either way just a rough, rough night for him and Beaudin who hasn't impressed at all imo.

The good news continues to be Simoneau/Ylonen. Simoneau with 17 pts in the last 16 games, wow very impressive for the rookie and he's got some real fire in him. Ylonen after starting the season with just 1 pt in 4 games has 17 pts in the last 18 games, last year he struggled with consistency and I had said I thought the biggest thing we needed to see from him this year (despite several putting him on the Habs to start the year, which I was against) we need to see him be much more consistent and so far it's been the case but he's got a long ways left in the season yet.

I haven't been able to watch all the Laval games but fans got their money worth on this one, lots of back and forth, fun game to watch so I made the clip a little longer then usual.

Primeau, Barron, Norlinder, Trudeau, RHP, Ylonen and Mysak.

Fairbrother if he can actually get healthy.

Only Barron and Primeau have the potential to be more than depth players.

They have a bunch of guys with NHL potential. Most of them will be more depth players. But that is also because most of the top prospects in the pros are with the Habs. So whatever is left in Laval is more depth players.
